Featherfall · Effective 10 August 2026
This policy explains what happens to your information when you play Featherfall (the “Game”), an Android game published by Spiryted (“we”, “us”).
The short version: we do not collect, store or transmit any personal information about you. The Game has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics and no servers of ours. Everything you do is saved on your own device. The one exception is advertising, which is served by Google AdMob and described below.
The Game saves your progress and preferences locally using Android’s standard app storage:
This data never leaves your device. We cannot see it. It contains no name, email address or contact details. Uninstalling the Game deletes it, and you can erase it at any time from Settings → Erase progress inside the Game.
The Game displays advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. To serve and measure those ads, Google collects information directly from your device. We never receive it in a form that identifies you; we only see anonymous, aggregated earnings reports.
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Advertising ID (a resettable identifier) | Selecting and measuring ads, frequency capping, fraud prevention |
| IP address and approximate location derived from it | Serving locally relevant ads and applying regional privacy rules |
| Device information (model, operating system, language) | Rendering ads correctly and measuring performance |
| Ad interaction events (views, taps) | Measurement, billing and fraud prevention |
Google’s handling of this data is governed by its own policies: the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Where the GDPR applies, personalised advertising is carried out on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), collected through a Google-certified consent message. If you decline, the Game may still show non-personalised ads on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) in funding a free game; these use data only for what is strictly necessary to serve and measure the ad.
You have the right to access, correct, delete and port your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Since we hold no personal data ourselves, requests about advertising data should be directed to Google; we will help you where we can.
We do not sell personal information for money. Sharing an advertising ID for personalised advertising may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under some state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act. You can opt out by resetting or deleting your advertising ID in Android settings, or by using the consent controls where they are offered to you. We do not knowingly process sensitive personal information.
Featherfall is not directed to children. It is intended for players aged 16 and over, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The Game is not part of the Google Play Families programme and is not designed or marketed for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, contact us and we will act on it.
We retain nothing, because we collect nothing. Data stored on your device remains until you erase progress or uninstall. Advertising data is retained by Google according to its own published retention schedules.
Google may process advertising data on servers outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards described in Google’s privacy policy.
Game data is stored in the Game’s private storage area, which Android isolates from other apps. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, but because we transmit no personal data, the exposure is limited to the advertising data described in section 2.
If this policy changes materially we will update the effective date above and publish the revised version at this address before the change takes effect. Continuing to play after that constitutes acceptance.
